Outside Plant Field Engineer
Great Plains Communications is growing! We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person to fill the position of Outside Plant Field Engineer in the Illinois/Indiana area.
This position will be responsible for:
- Assisting in design of outside plant
- Managing all phases of construction projects including public relation activities
- Preparing staking sheets and obtaining permits and easements for designated construction projects
Previous telecommunications, plant design, and fiber splicing experience is required. Successful candidates must have project management skills, drafting skills, mathematical skills, computer skills, communication skills, and customer relation skills. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel over 50% of the time is required.
