OSP Field Engineer
Great Plains Communications is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person to fill the position of Outside Plant Field Engineer in the Omaha, Nebraska metro area.
This position will be responsible for:
- Assisting in design of outside plant
- Managing all phases of construction projects including public relation activities
- Preparing staking sheets and obtaining permits and easements for designated construction projects
Previous telecommunications and plant design experience is required. Successful candidates must have project management skills, drafting skills, mathematical skills, computer skills, communication skills, and customer relation skills. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel approximately 10% of the time is required. CDL license is preferred after 6 months.
